Starting at Hollingworth Lake RC @ 18.00 for 18.30
Couple of swift scoops then ramble around the lake and country park
Target will be the Rake Tapa’s Bar, Blackstone Edge Old Rd for 20.00 – 20.30 hr.

This years Roundtable Golf Day was again held at Rochdale Golf Club with the winners being H Bell and Son / Barton Kendal team made up of Steve Barton, Chris Bell, Colin Dixon, Ian Mann. On behalf of RT55 and Chairman Christian Morris who's chosen charity this year is The children’s Cancer ward at the Manchester Children’s Hospital - he would like to thank all those companies that put a team in, sponsored a hole  and to Jonathan Whitworth from Develop for being the main sponsor. Although the figures have not been finalised the day will have raised in excess of £2000

This years lads and dads event was held at Willow Vale Caravan Park near to Scarborough. Quite an eventful weekend was had by all. Although the weather back in Rochdale was nice and sunny the weather where we were was blustery and over cast. So much so that we managed to loose a gazebo and a tent.

It was a great weekend for the adults ( except the England result ) and for the children they had the freedom to do what they wanted. A trip to Flamingo Land rounded off the weekend.

It does not seem that long ago that we were cruising into the wilderness of Scarborough in West Yorkshire for what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend taking in the scenery of the white froth of the bodi and stella and the sweet smell of

ah ah ah  

Well that time of year is here again

Lads and dads this year has been arranged for the following dates

This years Round Table Golf Day will be held on the 25th June 2010 at Rochdale Golf Club. All money raised will go to local charities of the new chairman - Christian Morris.

The purpose of the meeting will be :

1.        To receive the accounts for the year ended 21^St April 2010

2.        To receive the reports of all the Convenors / Officers of Round and District No.55

3.        To elect Christian Morris for the forthcoming year as Chairman of Rochdale and District No.55

4.        To elect Steven Barton for the forthcoming year as President of Rochdale and District No.55

5.        To elect Michael Scott for the forthcoming year as Vice Chairman of Rochdale and District No.55

6.        To elect Tony Pockney for the forthcoming year as Vice President of Rochdale and District No.55

7.        To re-elect David Gill who, retiring by rotation as President under the article of association
and, being eligible, is offering himself for re-election as Immediate Past president.

8.        To re-elect Andrew Chadwick who, retiring by rotation as Chairman under the article of
association and, being eligible, is offering himself for re-election as Immediate Past chairman.

9.        To elect for the forth coming year a Treasurer of Rochdale and District No.55

10.     To elect for the forth coming year a Secretary of Rochdale and District No.55
