Rochdale Young Carers

In 2012 Michael Atkinson Chairman made this his main charity. Rochdale Young Carers provide support for young carers aged 5 to 18 years old. They arrange an assessment to determine what support is needed and offer various services including advocacy, counselling, one to one and group support and respite care so young carers can have a break.

Rochdale Round Table gave this charity £3000.00


Childrens wish are a small, national charity that grants Wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses. They aim to bring a little bit of magic into their lives by creating some special moments and memories. This charity is supported by National Round Table and RT55 kindly donated £500 towards a National event that took place
Rochdale Blind Welfare

Rochdale Round Table continue to support Rochdale Blind Welfare not just with donations towards equipment but with providing readings on a regular basis of the Rochdale Observer. This is then played through digital USB readers. £923.00 was donated to replace the old outdated equipment and introduce new technology


The home attempts to meet all needs by changing with what children requireat the time and during the school holiday periods; children are slected by the local services department, who actually take children to the home for a week. The children are then collected safely and then deliver home. Round Table donated £1000


 

Rochdale Childer


Rochdale Childer who support children within Rochdale received a cheque for £1500 towards the purchasing of essential equipment for local children.


Springhill Hospice specialise in palliative care for people with life-limiting illness. Rochdale Round Table have been committed to supporting the Springhill Hospice for many years. In 2012 we donated £2500 and will continue to support this charity for many years.
